Greenpeace is working in Bihar, one of the most backward states in the country, to explore and highlight the part renewable energy can play in its development. Energy is a lifeline for people living in a state plagued by poverty and corruption. Getting cheap and sustainable energy fast will help the State get rid of its backward tag. A lot of resources will be required to make clean electricity for all a reality.
