I’m a admirer of your books and a greatly against GM foods, non-renewable seeds and even worse… the genetecically engineered pesticides and fertilizers that are killing our living creatures indiscriminately (the good ones along with the pests), and destroying our soil and ground water completely!
The coke and Pepsi manufacturers are no better…they draw out and bottle millions ofgallons of our clean groundwater daily and discard 60-70% of the contaminated water into our earth and fields, again draw out 1000s of gallons the next day and again bottle 30-40% of it and send back the now concentrated toxic water back into our soil… And then sell us our own water in millions of plastic bottles at exorbitant rates. Indians—unite to fight these terrible MNCs who are destroying our health and environment!
I’m all for banning the propagation of GE food to an unquestioning and barely educated market, but where does Nestle say they use it?????
Someone picked this campaign and channeled a lot of money, time, web space and riled supporters into it and now GP has to find the most ridiculous and twisted ways to keep the campaign afloat.
A word to GP: Honesty would help, come clean… Do not slander a company for something they don’t do. Reword your poll statement. Apologize to the company and clear their name.
Reaffirm the stance of the poll-ers, hopefully that would be ‘Indians never would want GE food’.
And then bow out!
Maybe you’d salvage some of your credibility and those of the poor ‘educated’ celebrities you’ve roped in, who by the looks of your site seem like they support the ban Nestle campaign!

You will salvage a lot of your credibility if you read up and then speak! It is CLEAR as daylight from Nestle’s letter that they are pro GM!
