Event one: We’re working on GE food!
For members of the newly inaugurated Eco Club of Malnad Engineering College, Hassan, GE food was the highlight of their first event. It was easy to decide on GE safety once they knew how unsafe their food can get.
Great start!
Pretty impressive, in fact more than 250 students present, besides numerous others, wanted to join the Eco club after our presentation on GE food. The college was left buzzing with energies waiting to jump the bandwagon against GE food.
According to Jason (Greenpeace activist) speaking to the gathering was great, and as soon as individuals knew about GE food, it lead to action. The Eco Club boasts 60 members – and that’s just for starters!
